Role Reasoning: I chose Legend for Miwa because it feels the closest to her true nature. She's an intelligent, cheerful girl who enjoys being useful to people around her. She's practical about her own shortcomings and has always been willing to do what she's capable of. She's kind and stubborn enough to keep forging relationships even if they're not easy, but once she's gotten in, she's not the type to walk away either.  Her goals center around helping take care of the people around her instead of herself as well which just makes it more obvious which role suits her the best

Miwa Kasumi is a genuinely kind girl. She's got a good heart and a strong will, although she's not the best or strongest fighter. She's cheerful and generally happy, but not as naive as she might seem sometimes. Miwa knows the world she lives in and while she's  a mid level fighter at best, it doesn't stop her from trying and doing what she can.  Miwa does  tend to be self-deprecating and this comes off as a defense mechanism, because if she says it, it's less of a blow to her own confidence. She's very aware of her own limits and the fact she's never going to be the genius level of others in her generation, after all and she tries not to let it bother her unduly, but she is a teenage girl. 

As an outsider, Miwa seems to be one of the most practical students, with realistic expectations and a normal drive for her goals. She's not aiming to be the best, more to just be effective and have a means of supporting her family when she's finished her training.  She's definitely driven but it's not the whole of her existence either. Miwa does seem to be the kindest member of the Kyoto school and stubborn enough to pursue a friendship with Mechamaru who was the most prickly member of the team, treating him as a valued member of the team as opposed to a tool like the others. This doesn't mean she doesn't have close relationships with other members of her team, but they feel less cohesive than the Tokyo school. 

Her closest friend would be Mechamaru although she does appear to have a friendly relationship with both Mai and Momo or at least enough that they respect her. Losing Mechamaru hit her hard and was one of the reasons she took on the binding vow to fight Kenjaku. She's also still working as a sorcerer although she's not stepping on to the front lines, choosing instead to deal with patrolling and other issues. 

In Folkmore I plan having her focus on growing in other ways, building skills outside of Jujutsu and working on different forms of combat since she's given up the sword. Having more relationships and just seeing how she can grow as a person. Miwa is a social girl so building bonds may not be difficult for her, but  exploring other paths will prove beneficial for her growth as a person and her personal confidence.
